The responsibilities of the center include two parts: education supervision and education quality assessment. In terms of educational supervision, I was responsible for collecting and sorting out the relevant policies, information and developments of various assessments at home and abroad, sorting out the statistical data of teaching quality supervision and monitoring on campus, and preparing corresponding briefings. At the same time, establish a teaching quality control system for the school's talent training and education and teaching process, organize and carry out daily supervision, fixed-point supervision and public supervision, and do a good job in related research, analysis, summary, feedback and inspection; In the aspect of education quality assessment, it is responsible for taking the lead in carrying out teaching assessment, professional certification and comprehensive evaluation of education and teaching carried out by competent departments at all levels or various authoritative evaluation institutions, adhering to the concept of continuous improvement, and specifically doing a good job in welcoming evaluation and promoting construction at the macro level such as policy interpretation, declaration and guidance, self-evaluation and supervision, and result feedback.


At 9:00 am on November 30, 2022, the Education Supervision and Teaching Evaluation Center of Ningbo University held the first thematic study meeting and the first regular working meeting of the Supervision and Evaluation Center in the conference room 101 of Huang Chen Yueliou. The meeting focused on learning the instructions and requirements of Lv Chaofeng, Deputy secretary and vice president of the supervision and evaluation work. The supervision and evaluation work is an important link of school education and teaching work, and the control of education and teaching quality is an important part of the education quality system. The supervision and evaluation work is the work of the overall level of the school and has the significance of the whole school. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and the provincial Department of Education, the existing system should be improved as soon as possible and the work should be planned from the overall perspective. The supervision and evaluation work should be combined with internal guarantee and external evaluation, and the internal quality assurance system of our school education and teaching should be established with the idea of great supervision and evaluation. The comrades of the supervision and evaluation Center earnestly study the instructions and requirements of the main leading comrades of the school, and carry out study in combination with their own work. In the study, everyone said that the work of the supervision and evaluation center should be closely focused on all aspects of talent training, and strive to cover the supervision and evaluation. To discuss the overall plan of the functions of the eighth round of supervision and evaluation center according to the instructions of the leader, straighten out the vertical and horizontal relationship, explore the scientific and feasibility of optimizing the allocation of relevant functions, and further strengthen the contact and cooperation with relevant functional departments. This meeting is the first working meeting held by Professor Liu Xunhua, director of the Center of Supervision and Evaluation, at the beginning of his tenure. This meeting further clarified the thinking and direction of the future work of the center through thematic learning.

On the afternoon of December 6th, the fourth session of the Ningbo University Review Salon "Urgent Problems in the Construction of Pedagogy in China" was held in Huang Chen Yueli Conference Room 101. Mr. Hou Huaiyin, distinguished Professor of "Changjiang Scholar" of the Ministry of Education, Dean of the Chinese Institute of Social Education and doctoral Supervisor of Shanxi University, gave a lecture. All representatives of the Center for Supervision and Evaluation and graduate students participated in the lecture. Mr. Liu Xunhua, director of the Center for Supervision and Evaluation, chaired the salon. Hou Huaiyin pointed out that the current pedagogy related research is mainly based on the Western paradigm, pioneering to share the "three links" concept of general learning, general industry and general talents. Hou Huaiyin emphasized that "through-learning" promotes the innovative development of education through interdisciplinary cooperation, and discussed the training mode of "through-learning" and "generalist". Hou Huaiyin believes that education originates from communication and emphasizes the interaction and communication between people. Education should be for everyone, not just for teachers. Hou Huaiyin mentioned that education should strengthen the training of basic skills, cultivate the quality of diligence and concentration, and pay attention to the application of problem-solving development model, and promote personal growth and social development in a logical and clear way. This salon not only provides new ideas for interdisciplinary cooperation and innovative development in the field of pedagogy, but also further points out the direction for the development of emerging disciplines such as Marine pedagogy. In the future, with the deep integration and continuous innovation of various disciplines, the field of audit research will usher in more challenges and broader prospects for development.
