Title: Arrangement Characteristics, Content Composition and Value Implications of Sea-Related Classical Poetry and Prose in Ministry-Compiled Primary Chinese Language Textbooks

Abstract: The cultivation and enhancement of ocean literacy should begin in childhood, making primary education a crucial stage for marine education. Ministry-compiled primary Chinese language textbooks contain abundant ocean-themed texts, among which sea-related classical poetry and prose serve as typical representatives. By defining the criteria for sea-related classical poetry and prose and conducting an analysis from the perspectives of arrangement, content and value, we can not only understand the core competencies of Chinese language education from a broader perspective, but also promote the integration of marine education into primary Chinese language teaching and help primary school students develop a deeper understanding of the ocean.
