Title: The Historical Foundation, Contemporary Basis, and Practical Pathways for Integrating Zheng He's Spirit into the Cultivation of Maritime Legal Talent within the Framework of the Community of Shared Future for the Ocean
Abstract: In the context of building a community with a shared future for the oceans, integrating Zheng He’s spirit into the education of maritime legal professionals holds significant importance. From a historical perspective, Zheng He’s spirit aligns with the current practical needs for cultivating maritime legal professionals. However, the current cultivation of maritime legal professionals faces challenges when integrating Zheng He’s spirit, including an incomplete system for supplying educational resources, limited innovation in teaching methods, and relatively lagging textbook development and revision. To integrate the spirit of Zheng He into the cultivation of maritime legal talent, universities should improve the supply of educational resources, deepen research on the spirit of Zheng He and maritime legal theory, innovate teaching methods, organically integrate the spirit of Zheng He into the flipped classroom model, and actively organize the compilation and revision of maritime legal textbooks that incorporate the spirit of Zheng He.
Key words: maritime community of shared destiny; Zheng He’s spirit; maritime rule of law; curriculum system
