近代中西方海洋文明发展特点与模式的历史检视

摘  要

海洋文明是人类文明的重要构成，然而中西方在依托海洋发展的道路上旨趣各异，尤其在近代，二者间更是出现了巨大差异。由于对海洋利用和开发上的不同目的与思路，最终中西方在海上探索的实践中形成了不同的发展模式。中西方海洋文明发展的不同模式有其相似的演化逻辑，即文化价值观念是内在稳定的支撑，而政治、经济的推动抑或是限制则是影响其发展方向的重要变量。

A Historical Reflection on the Characteristics and Models of the Development of Marine Civilization in East and West

Abstract: Maritime civilization is an important component of human civilization. However, there are distinctly different interests between the East and the West on their paths to development relying on the sea , and different development models generated in the practice of marine exploration as a result especially in modern times. Due to different purposes in the utilization and development of the ocean, different development models have ultimately emerged in the practice of maritime exploration in the East and the West. The different development models of maritime civilizations in the East and the West have similar evolutionary logics, that is, cultural values serve as an internally stable support, while political promotion or restriction is an important variable factor affecting the development direction of the East and the West.
